Spin to Win Official Rules

1. Sponsor

Lavell Jackson, Broker/Owner, RE/MAX Five Star Properties, 830 S. 2nd St, Louisville, KY 40203, (270) 312-1369 (“Sponsor”). Kentucky real estate license #274290. Each RE/MAX office is independently owned and operated.

2. No purchase necessary

A spin is free. You do not need to buy, sell, or list any property, or hire Sponsor, to spin the wheel. Spinning does not obligate you to do business with Sponsor.

3. Eligibility

Open to anyone 18 or older who is buying or selling a home located in Kentucky. If your home is outside Kentucky you cannot spin, but Sponsor can refer you to a trusted agent in your state at no cost to you. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

4. How to play

Choose “I’m Buying” or “I’m Selling,” complete the form with accurate information, confirm you are 18 or older and agree to these Official Rules and the Privacy Policy, and click “Spin the Wheel.” Consent to receive calls and texts is optional and is never required to spin. The result is determined by chance on Sponsor’s server and is shown on screen. Every segment of the wheel is a perk, so every spin reveals one. Each segment is equally likely: on the buying wheel each of the 10 segments has a 10% chance, and on the selling wheel each of the 8 segments has a 12.5% chance.

5. Limit

One spin per person. Only one spin is allowed per email address and per phone number. Attempts to spin more than once may be disregarded.

6. Perks

The available perks, their descriptions, and their maximum values are listed below and in the “Perk details” section of the Wheel of Deals page, and are incorporated into these rules. Perks have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, are not transferable, and cannot be combined with other offers. Every perk is paid for by Sponsor and not by any lender, title company, home inspector, cleaner, landscaper, or other provider. Sponsor may arrange a perk through a third-party business, but Sponsor pays for it. Sponsor may substitute a perk of equal or greater value if a listed perk becomes unavailable.

Selling wheel

  • ¼ Point (0.25%) Off My Listing Commission — My listing commission drops by 0.25 percentage points — for example, 3.00% becomes 2.75% — exactly as written in your signed listing agreement. Provided by Lavell Jackson.

7. How to claim a perk

A perk revealed on the wheel is provided only if all of the following happen: (a) you sign a written buyer or seller agency agreement with Sponsor; (b) you are under contract within 180 days of your spin date on a Kentucky home with a sale price of $250,000 or more — “under contract” means a purchase contract signed by all parties on the home you are buying or selling; and (c) that transaction closes. The perk is provided during the listing period or at or after closing, as applicable, even if closing happens after the 180 days. A closing credit, if revealed, is provided from Sponsor’s commission, is subject to lender and program approval, and will appear on your Closing Disclosure. The commission perk reduces Sponsor’s listing commission by 0.25 percentage points (for example, 3.00% becomes 2.75%) and applies only as written in your signed listing agreement. Signing an agency agreement is optional and is not required to spin. The terms of any agency agreement, including compensation, are negotiable and are set out in that agreement, not in these rules.

8. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes on a perk you receive.

9. Personal information

Information you provide is used as described in our Privacy Policy. To spin, you must confirm you are 18 or older and agree to these Official Rules and the Privacy Policy. Separately, you may check an optional box consenting to be contacted by Sponsor by call and text at the number you provided, including by automated technology. That consent is optional, is not required to spin, and is not a condition of buying or selling a home or of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Sponsor records the exact consent wording, the date and time, your IP address, your browser, and the page address as proof of consent.

10. Changes

Sponsor may modify, suspend, or end this promotion, or change the perks, at any time. Changes do not affect a perk already won and claimable under these rules.

11. General
